I sent you a few websites that you can checkout if you and musical team want to travel to Cuba. We talked briefly about Cuba when I saw you perform in downtown Silver Spring MD on Thursday 2 July.
Very happy to have seen you play in Silver Spring MD, just wish I'd had time for more than a single tune. Love that bass marimba. I'll look for you again in the DC area.

I am a 56yr old british-born woman living between upstate NY & HI ~ on july 26th i got up bright & early & drove down to manhatten for an appointment with my macrobiotic teacher/counsellor (to seek his advise for a chronic condition that was getting the better of me) & planned to treat myself & go down to washington sq park after lunch, to see & hear what was happening (& bath my feet in the fountain!) The day went smoothly & i found a good parking spot right by the sq & felt so grateful to be there on such a beautiful day & i was feeling so excited, sensing new & unique experiences ~ After paddling in the fountain, refreshed by the cool water i ambled towards the pleasant jazz music coming from the south(?) side & walked past a group of people carrying what i presumed were wooden xylophones & was curious but went on & listened happily to the jazz group & then, just as they seemed to be coming to a stop.....................all my senses were awakened by this amazingly beautiful sound of woodland wonder coming from behind me ~ i felt like one of the pied pipers children, lured by the music, i practically ran up to your group, unable to stop smiling & dancing & i felt so alive & happy in a way that i had not ever before experienced ! In stayed for as long as i could & bought your CD & listened to it the whole way back home ~ the 3 hrs of travel went by so quickly & happily ~ wow ! i have been woken up again ! THANK YOU for sharing your gift of this beautiful earthy/magical/universal sound/music ~ it obviously reflects who you are as a person/people ~

Great show in the Santa Fe Rail Yard. Sorry about the wind. Come back soon. TOM
Well I saw you guys play at Zimfest in August and you completely blew my mind. I'm an 8th grader in Coeur d Alene Idaho, and I have dedicated my life to music, considering I play 32 instruments. I play in a marimba group here, and it's soooo fun! I purchased the CD at Zimfest, listened to Kiki countless times. I have perfect pitch so I have listened to Kiki over and over, transfered the key into C major, and learned it! I'm still working on just the leads and I must say, Raven is a musical genius! - Caden Leo Davs
Hello Polyphony Marimba group. My name is Aliza and I am 14 years old. I saw you all perform in Santa Fe, in the Plaza on Thursday evening March 28th. You all brought light to my day. I attend the Denver School of the Arts so I really enjoy music and all art forms. I am also a lover of photography, you may have noticed me taking pictures. The performance that I saw was totally invigorating. There is this quote that I like, It goes, " Life would be a lot easier if there were pinatas strategically placed throughout the day" However for me, life would be awesome if a marimba group like you guys were strategically placed throughout the day. So, essentially I hope that the whole team gets to see this and know that you really make people's lives worth living. Thank you so much for all that you do.
I stumbled upon your band last summer whilst visiting Washington DC at Dupont Circle and was mesmerized by it. I had forgotten about the beauty of the music until now when I am back in DC after six months and decided to search for your group over the Internet. I am so blessed to find you again. I just downloaded your album from amazon. Thank you for the beautiful music especially "Dreams 12". God bless you all for the joy you have brought in people's lives.
Saw you guys performing at the plaza in Santa Fe last week and I have to say that you made our trip truly magical! Watching you guys perform was so much fun and your energy was clearly infectitious. I hope to see you guys perform again! Sending love from California!
Got to see you all in Fredericksburg last week! Had a wonderful time. You are all wonderful and sound AMAZING.

Loved you in Asheville May and July!! Please come back!
How amzing and heart-warming this music is!
Just left your concert in Dupont - you're sound is amazing!
Hello Marimba people. I wanted to say I was THRILLED to have you perform this past week at THE BASE at the YMCA here on Martha's Vineyard. It was an amazing experience, one that is just not easy to explain yet truly easy to embrace. The music was flawless and tight, innovative and exciting. The vibrations from your instruments are FELT more than heard - you hear the sound but the vibes enter your bones and tickle the skin. It is like a massage for your soul. I wish you the very best in your continued collaborations. You are truly a unique and vibrant group that exemplifies what generations can do together to inspire and excite those around them. Bravo and thank you!

love you all! am sitting here crying and listening and looking at the photos reading comments wishing I could come down..
I learned my first marimba in the summer of 2009 in a small group taught by Mikaela & Raven. Peter made me a beautful soprano marimba and I was off and running. Later in 2009 I joined Peter's intermediate group, where I have found much joy ever since. Peter, I feel so privileged to be on the receiving end of your inspired teaching and expertise! I had a brief chance to play with the amazing musicians of Zuva in 2010. This happy music carried me through two rounds of cancer and beyond. I want to continue to progress, to feel the music from the inside, and to abide in the great joy that it brings to my life.
Great music!! Great group. Congratulations
I love the little kid
The busking performance @ Burro Alley yesterday was thrilling to say the least. Peter, your direction and arrangements, are exciting to listen to... Raven, your compositions lift us out of the ordinary... and Dreams 12 felt like experiencing and entire symphony. Ansel's playing is breathtaking and Karyna's energy and accuracy is to be admired... and the supportive players make me want to play better. With much love and admiration
Peter, we are really enjoying the marimbas. They are beautiful to listen to as well as to behold. The same goes for Dan's baritone.
Peter, I like your website! The song you have playing is one of my absolute favourites. It puts a smile on my face every time I hear it.
I am part of most everything now!
look forward to hearing polyphony!
